Whether you’re ready or not it’s officially time to go back to school! I’m not looking forward to school, however, I am looking forward to dressing nicer everyday. For the month of August I am participating in the Bloggers go Back to School Linkup hosted by Cathleen and Nicole! This weeks theme is fashion which is right up my alley. Todays post is 3 outfits perfect for the first week of school or really will work for anytime during the summer to fall transition!
Outfit #1 is a little more casual, but still super adorable. This is probably what I will be wearing on the first day!
I am in love with this striped shirt it is such a classic and staple piece. This striped shirt is a little different though since it has the iridescent sequins down the side.
Recently I have loved layering bracelets with my watch. With this top I paired a beaded bracelet that is orange and pink.
In most lighting the sequins looked like a purple, blue kind of color. Which is why the vans hightop went perfectly. Cute sneakers have been really in style recently. I mean I can see why, they are so cute yet so practical. Whenever you want to dress an outfit down but still look cute sneaker are definatly the way to go!
Outfit #2 is dressier but still super fun and school appropriate!
A good skirt is a essential piece to have in your closet. Mine just happens to be handmade by me! I made this skirt last summer to wear on my first day of high school! I really like the patterned skirt with a solid top. Here I paired it with a coral top, but last year I wore it with a chambray button down.
The top was kinda bland without a necklace so I added this iridescent necklace from Forever 21. If you can’t tell I really like iridescent things. To complete my look I threw on my coral and gold Jacks!
Outfit #3 is a more boho look!
I love this outfit, It is so chic! I’m really into outfits that are really cute but super comfortable. White tops go perfect with any outfit. I picked mine up at Marshall’s for around $5. It bought it in a size large so it would be loose. I added the denim vest over to start to transition to fall.
These pants are perfect for going back to school because they are super thin and flowy. However, they still have the right colors to start to transition into fall.
I hope y’all enjoyed my first back to school post! Keep looking out each week this month for a new post in the Bloggers go back to school link-up!
