Today I am coming at you with my first spring blog post! It has finally got warm in South Carolina the past two weeks (by warm I mean hot, especially for this time of year, its sunny and 85). This outfit is perfect for the cooler mornings but still nice for warmer afternoons. Around here the mornings are in the 50s so you need a light jacket. My denim jacket from Old Navy has been a go to of mine these past weeks.
This outfit sticks to a blue theme and mixes patterns. My top is a relaxed peplum top from Old Navy that I scored for only $10. If you haven’t checked out Old Navy this season you totally should. They have some really great piece for great prices.
My pants are from JCrew last year and they are super comfy. They are stretchy plus they have a cute zipper detail on the side!
Mixing the patterns between your shoes and pants is a simple way to mix patterns without going overboard.
I bought this denim jacket from Old Navy for around $35. It is super soft which is great considering the price. If you don’t have a denim jacket you so go buy one. They are paired perfect with dresses, skirts, patterned or colored pants and shorts.
Let me just tell you how much I love these Jack Rogers. They are so different and they add a very preppy vibe to any outfit. I bought these off of Last Call, which is the outlet version of Neiman Marcus. These were only $7o which is a steal compared to the usual $140. If you are looking into buying Jack Rogers but don’t want to pay full price I recommend you check out Last Call!
I got my nails done last week with my best friend (shoutout to you Madelyn) and wanted you to see this gorgeous pink color. I wish I knew they name of it but it adds the perfect pop of pink to this blue outfit.
I have been having way too many bad hair days recently so I have been braiding it a lot. It’s really quick and easy since my hair has grown back out. If you want to see the way I braid my hair, I have a couple of different ways, let me know in the comments below.

Old Navy has the best jean jackets! This outfit is really cute and I love those pants. I think it’d be really cool to see how you braid your hair, it looks really pretty!
