This blog post is part of the #galpalholiday linkup and this months theme is Witches, Ghouls, and Goblins!
I don’t do much for halloween and honestly I don’t have any plans. So today I decided I would share some of my past halloween costumes. Starting from the age of 4.
When I was 4 I decided to be a bride. I loved this dress and wore it all the time!
In 2007 I was a punk rock 80’s girl. My mom told me that I bought those earrings from the dollar section at Target and I wanted to wear them all the time. Don’t forget that I was only 7. Plus look at my shoes, I wore booties before they were cool.
Fast forward to 2013 and I was a cup of coffee. This is the easiest diy costume. To make it I bought brown pants and a long sleeve to be the coffee. The scarf is the whipped cream and the brown on the scarf is the caramel. I then added my green straw which is a napkin roll covered in green duck tape. Last but not least I printed out the Starbucks logo and tapped it to my shirt. My friend Tristan was the barista and all she did was wear a green apron and hot with the logo on in.
Last year I had 2 halloween costumes. For our church halloween party my small group and I were super heros. Which is the simplest most basic costume ever, I know. My leaders were peanut butter and jelly which I thought was totally adorable.
The second costume from last year I chose my costume the day of halloween. I was Rosie the Riveter. For that costume all you need is a red bandana, denim shirt and red lipstick. To do the hair you can follow this tutorial. My friends were a scarecrow and minnie mouse.
I think this year I am going to be a deer. If you don’t follow me on Instagram (@girlmeetsstyle_) you totally should so you can see my costume Saturday night!
